Designed to provide sailing instructors with information on how to teach more safely, effectively, and creatively. Topics covered in the course include: classroom and on-the-water teaching techniques, risk management, safety issues, lesson planning, creative activities, ethical concerns, and sports physiology and psychology.

Provides an introduction to judging and protest practices at the club level. This seminar is required for certification as a Club Judge.

The Powerboat Instructor Trainer Course certifies qualified US powerboating instructors to certify instructor candidates to teach beginning sailing. The Powerboat Instructor Trainer Course is conducted by Master Instructor Trainers who are experts in powerboating education. All applications are reviewed by committee before acceptance is granted.

The US Sailing Smallboat Sailing Level 1 Instructor Trainer Course certifies qualified US Sailing instructors to train Smallboat Level 1 sailing instructor candidates to teach beginning sailing. The Level 1 Instructor Trainer Course is conducted by Master Instructor Trainers who are experts in the field of sail training. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
